My Dad Rocks

I couldn’t agree with you more! Take this image from The Nitnth Floor , a series about heroin addicts living in New York City during the early 2000’s.

The woman in the image, named Jessie, is performing fellatio on a male in exchange for heroin. The photographer Jessica Dimmock gave up countless months/years of her own life to submerge herself into the lifestyle of a young heroin addict. It’s that level of commitment that provides viewers with such striking and real photography.

So I guess when it comes down to it some images that inspire me do involve fellatio but i guess it all has to do within the context of the series. I’m no fan of vulgarity just for the sake of it. Yah know what I mean?
